Centerpoint School is full for Summer 2019. We are currently filling our spots for the 2019-2020 School Year from our waitlist.
REFERRALS
The admissions and intake procedures at Centerpoint School are carefully designed to insure an appropriate match of services, supports, and programming to meet the referred student's needs. This includes information sharing, assessment, level of care matching, and student engagement to support long term success and establish a solid foundation for working toward and achieving the identified treatment and educational goals for the referred student.
Initial contact with interest in making a referral to Centerpoint School may come from many sources: a sending school, a parent or guardian, residential treatment program, alternative placement, service provider/therapist or from the student themselves.
Most often, the special education department of the local education agency (LEA, "sending school") must support and coordinate the referral, as they typically have fiscal responsibility to support educational placement outside of the student's district.
